CBI Day 2023 Speakers Announced
CBI Day 2023 will feature invited speaker Michael Koehler from Genentech! Michael's lecture will be titled Unnatural Products: Rethinking Antibiotic Drug Discovery.
Over zoom, we will host lectures from CBI alums Evan Hurlow, at Snapdragon, and Eun Bin Go at Emerald Cloud Lab.
Research will be presented from last year's graduates Grace Kunkel, Ashley Julio, and Matthew McVeigh. Grace will present her paper Au(III)-Mediated Macromolecular Architecture Synthesis; Ashley will present Uncovering the Role of Cysteine in Regulating the Cellular Stress Response; Matthew will present Catalyst-Controlled Annulations of Strained Cyclic Allenes.
Michael Koehler will also host a career development workshop with a focus on finding jobs in the industry, and Heather Maynard will host a workshop on seeking academic jobs.
